Welcome to St Mary's, Bloxham

St Mary's Church has been at the heart of Bloxham in Oxfordshire for almost 1000 years, providing a focal point for Christian worship and prayer.  We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join with us in worshipping God and in finding out more about the Christian faith.

Social events are also an important part of church life to which visitors are most welcome. St Mary's is here to serve the local community and to follow the example of Jesus Christ.

The church is open every day for visitors to look around or to sit and reflect quietly in peaceful surroundings.

Building Our Future, improving St Mary's for everyone, is moving forward. Sound and heating have already been improved and there is eager anticipation of the next stage beginning.

As well as regular weekly services  there are various groups which meet regularly for prayer, Bible study and fellowship. Our diverse congregation welcomes people of all ages and at all stages of their journey of faith.

Our bellringers call people to worship, a music group leads the singing for the less formal occasions as does the choir for more formal services.
