A warm welcome
St Mary’s Church has been at the heart of Bloxham in Oxfordshire for almost 1000 years, providing a focal point for Christian worship and prayer, and serving the local community.
We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join with us in worshipping God and in finding out more about the Christian faith.
The church is open every day for visitors to look around or to sit and reflect quietly in peaceful surroundings.

Service times
Sundays — 8am Holy Communion (BCP), 9.30am Holy Communion with hymns and choir, 6pm Evening Prayer.
Wednesdays — 5.30pm contemplative prayer in the Chancel.

Choir
Hymns and anthems in four-part harmony, plus a Music Group for less formal services.
Bellringing
Ring our historic eight bells — suitable for ages 10 to 80, full training given.
At Home
Fortnightly or monthly gatherings for fellowship, discussion and prayer across the benefice.
Groups
From Mothers’ Union to Bloxham Puzzlers, there’s a group for all ages and interests.
Baptisms, weddings and funerals
We welcome babies, children and adults to baptism, couples with a parish connection to marry here, and support for funerals and services of blessing. Contact the Vicar to discuss your plans.
