Contemplative prayer

A contemplative prayer group meets on Wednesdays from 5.30 pm to 6 pm in the Chancel for silent meditation. Arrive five to ten minutes early if you would like to join.

Julian Group

A Julian meeting of contemplative prayer is so called after Julian of Norwich, who was a 14th-century mystic. Contemplative prayer has been part of Christianity from the beginning.

The group meets on the third Monday of the month at 7.00 pm in the Parish Rooms.

Each meeting is centred on group contemplative prayer in the Christian tradition; we welcome people of all denominations and those seeking a place for silent prayer. The leader will begin with a short homily followed by music which leads us into silence, lasting about 30 minutes. We end with intercessions.
