Running St Mary’s costs almost £90,000 a year, met almost entirely through the generosity of our congregation and community. However you’re able to give, thank you.
Regular giving
Most parishioners and many other villagers like to support the work of St Mary’s Church through regular giving.
St Mary’s Church uses the Parish Giving Scheme (“PGS”) as its preferred method for receiving regular donations. The PGS has many advantages, in that all of the administration costs are funded by the diocese and St Mary’s receives all of the donations and any associated gift aid in the same month, with virtually no administration.
If you would like to support the ongoing work of St Mary’s in our community with a regular donation, please visit our PGS page.
One-off gifts
One-off gifts are just as welcome, and can also be made through the Parish Giving Scheme above. A £10 donation will light our spire for a week — a lovely way to mark a birthday, anniversary, or remember a loved one.
Gift Aid
If you’re a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid lets us reclaim 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
