The Friends of St Mary’s is a registered charity (No. 1091422), established in 2002 to help beautify, improve and maintain the fabric of St Mary’s — described as one of the finest church buildings in England — for the benefit of the whole community.
The Friends raise funds through membership, donations and events, including a 200 Club, and work closely with the church’s Parochial Church Council on maintenance and development projects. A regular newsletter keeps members up to date.
