1st Bloxham scouts
1st Bloxham Scouts has a proud history dating all the way back to 1910. We can now offer Beavers (6-8 years), Cubs (8-10.5 years) and Scouts (10-14 years) sections, regular meetings a range of activities, and open for both boys and girls. Camps remain a core part of the scouting experience, with simpler overnight stays in a tent for the younger members, and 3-day Aquacamps for the Scouts.
The Cubs group runs on a Wed night 6.30-7.45pm with lots of exciting activities, both indoors and out. We meet at different locations depending on the activity, usually in Bloxham or at the Horley campsite for outdoor adventures, firelighting and cooking on fires.
The Scouts group has been covering Challenge Badge Activities including personal Challenges, Axe Knife & Saw training and we are working on the Model Makers badge with the Warhammer shop in Banbury as well as lots of games and other activities thrown in.
